Yourself On Others

Meaning

Forcing oneself on others means:

1.     Ministers of God making unbearable demands from people.

2.     Religious leaders forcing people to make contributions which the people are not prepared and able to make.

3.     Demanding that people render services, which are not convenient for them to make.

A Case Study

A minister demanded money from me, and was given the only money in my pocket.

On another day, he repeated the same demand and was again giving the only money in my pocket, which money I reserved for transport back home. I gave him the only money I had with the hope that before evening, I may be able to get another money. The word, may, means that if by evening I was not able to get another money, I have to look for a person to borrow money from.

On a third day, he demanded that I should go to the bank, withdraw money and give to him. When I told him that I have no money in my bank savings account, he demanded that I should go home and get him some foodstuffs. He was demanding for foodstuffs from somebody who does not even have food in his house to eat.

Because I could not do as he said, he started cursing me.

Second Case Study

A lady travelled a very long distance to deliver messages to a person. After delivering the messages, she demanded for transport money to go home. She demanded about N5,400. When I indicated that there was not enough money at home, she insisted that she must be given transport money. It was wrong for her to travel such a very long distance, when she had no money, because a phone call of N100 could have served the same purpose, by delivering the messages through text message or phone call.

Sometimes

The religious leaders and ministers of God should know that some people stay at home on the Sabbath Day, and do not come to prayers and worship, because they have no money for transport or because they cannot make contributions in the temple. They feel ashamed that they are not able to contribute like their fellow members who have money and wealth. Some people do not even have food to eat, while some did not eat yesterday before Sabbath prayers and worship, and they have nothing to eat on the Sabbath Day or the next day.

When Help Is Necessary

The congregation shall be informed before time, so that many of them shall be able to save money and contribute.

The DivineBase Ministry congregation shall help in providing foods, money and other essentials, etc. But the religious leaders and ministers of God must make sure that nobody is over loaded with burdens.

Whenever foods or money are available, enough foods shall be provided for the ministers of God, who do not have food or money, to be able to eat on the Sabbath Day. I have seen on several occasions, where ministers of God, who are hungry and weak, could move about and render necessary services or could not even participate in prayers and worship during the Sabbath Day. The religious leaders, ministers of God and children of God must not pretend as if they do not know that some of their fellow ministers or members are dying in silence because of hunger or lack of essential necessities.

Interdependence

As the DivineBase Ministry develops and spreads, it is duty of the headquarters to ensure that all the branches, all the ministers of God are well taken care of. The religious leaders and ministers of God in very rich and wealthy branches must contribute as much as is possible, to ensure that their fellow religious leaders and ministers of God in very poor branches are well taken care of.
